Jana Kramer
“I Got The Boy”
#92

The song is fine, but Kramer is an awful singer, stiff and lifeless. And if she thinks dialing up her southern accent is going to save her, she needs to think a lot harder.

Tim McGraw
“Top Of The World”
#99

This is McGraw at his most graceful and charming, and if that doesn’t add up to much it’s still a lot better than what most male singers on the country chart are producing. It registers less, though, a fact McGraw seems to have happily resigned himself to (as if he had a choice).

The 1975
“Love Me”
#100

No matter how carefully they imitate mid-70s Bowie, they’re not him, which means the closest they can get is mid-80s Duran Duran with a cuter voice. Better than usual Duran Duran, mind you, but still.
